Arnie Larson has been employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Corrections since 1991, and is currently a Sergeant at MCI Norfolk, the States Largest Correctional Facility.
He has served in numerous capacities throughout his career including the TRT (Tactical Operations Team) and Staff Training, he also served as a Union Steward at MCI Norfolk.
Arnie is a charter member of his local lodge, DOC Lodge #28 (Chartered in 2002), and is currently the Vice President of DOC Lodge #28, where he is in his second term in this position, before being elected Vice President he was the Sgt. @ Arms.
He is currently serving his second term as State President and is proud to serve with his current board members on legislative issues and community programs to enhance the safe working environment for all law enforcement officers throughout the Commonwealth.
Arnie also currently serves on the National Credentials Committee and works closely with fellow National Presidents and Trustees on the important issues affecting law enforcement officers throughout the nation.
He is the proud father of three beautiful daughters. He is also an loyal and passionate fan of his beloved Red Sox & Patriots.
