Larry Crosman began his career in law enforcement in 1988 first being hired by the Boston
College Police Department and shortly thereafter transferring to the Sharon Police Department.
In 1992 Larry joined the Mansfield Police Department and during his time there has served as the Police Court Prosecutor and also as a Detective for close to 10 years.
In 2006 he was promoted to Sergeant and returned to the Patrol Division as a supervisor. He continues to be very involved with the Community Policing programs of the Mansfield Police Department. He is the department liaison to the Mansfield TRIAD program which is a program that assists Seniors Citizens with issues of crime prevention and safety.
Larry Crosman is a charter member of the FOP Bay State Lodge #30, formerly the Tri-Town Lodge. He served as the Treasurer and presently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer of his local lodge.
In 2004 the Massachusetts FOP State Lodge was reorganized and Larry was elected as State Secretary as well as being elected to represent Massachusetts on the FOP National Board of Directors as National Trustee.
Recently he has been appointed by National President Canterbury
to serve on the National FOP Foundation Ways & Means Committee.
The FOP Foundation is the main supporter of the National Police Memorial Service in Washington D.C.
